Why should you change your fuel filter? A clogged fuel filter will cause: -Hard starting -Loss of power -No response to acceleration -Overall lack of engine performance For most vehicles, the fuel filter should be changed every 15,000 miles or every 1 year. (Check your owners manual for the recommended change interval for your vehicle) as part of a good preventative maintenance program. Have you changed your PCV (Positive Crankcase Ventilation) valve?
